About the conference.
The Pontifical Council for Culture and the Sport&Culture Department of the Holy See (Vatican City) intends to organize a Conference or Forum to meet the world of sports at its highest level and in all its dimensions (Olympic, amateur, professional, social and sport for all) to reflect on how sport values and sport practice can support social change, community development and the promotion of peace and human rights, in synergy with faith principles across all religions. The purpose of the event is to produce results that can be used for sport and grass-roots progress, to reiterate the social and educational value of sport, the processes of development of the young people education and the protection of their health. The project aims to help the sports movement to integrate the practice of sports with spiritual values, bringing the most noble values of sport into the life of religious people.
Our solution.
We wanted to combine the ancient and the new. We got the inspiration from ancient letterls elements (seal, gold leaf) and mixed them with a design inspired by the Vatican padillon at the Expo 2015 in Milan. We are very proud of the result and we are looking forward to help building something great for next year conference.
